The person behind Alma Naach
A life with
room for dance.
I’m Santhra. This is my soulful journey.

My journey
It’s never too late
to begin again.
I was born in Kerala, India, and started dancing Bollywood at thirteen. Dance followed me through studying, working, and moving to the United States. For a long time, it was the thing I loved that came second.
In my mid-thirties, I decided to share that love more openly. The doubts were familiar: am I too old? Am I good enough? Have I done enough to put myself out there?
I chose to keep dancing anyway.
“I have decided that I will not live my life with regret. I have decided that it is better late than never.”
Alma Naach is a place for that journey: personal choreography, the joy of Bollywood, and the connection that happens when we dance together.
It’s a story that has travelled from India to North America to South America. There is always more to learn, more to express, and another reason to move.

“I feel most alive when I spend time dancing.”
The heart of Alma Naach has always been personal: making space for a passion, moving through self-doubt, and sharing the process.
